About the role

We are looking for an ambitious software developer intern who wants to help build the digital products of tomorrow. At NextLab Ventures you don't work on boring tasks — you build real products from day one.

As an intern with us, you become part of a small, dynamic team where your effort really matters. You get hands-on experience with modern technologies and learn how to build scalable applications from scratch.

What you will do

  • Build web applications with Laravel and Svelte
  • Work with databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
  • Implement AI features and automations
  • Participate in code reviews and agile development
  • Contribute across the full product development cycle

Our tech stack

  • Backend: Laravel (PHP), Python
  • Frontend: Svelte 5, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
  • Database: MySQL, Redis
  • Infrastructure: Laravel Forge, DigitalOcean
  • AI: OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude

Requirements

  • Student in a relevant education (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar)
  • Basic programming knowledge (any language)
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Comfortable communicating in Danish and English

Nice to have

  • Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • PHP or Python knowledge
  • Git and version control experience
  • Personal projects or GitHub profile
  • Interest in AI and automation
